ANNUAL CHANGE-OVER OF CHURCH OFFICERS
The year 2020 will go down as the year of ‘never before’s’. One of the annual events not to happen this year, is the Annual Vestry Meeting which should take place before the last day of April. However, due to the on-going lockdown, it has not been possible to gather people together for this purpose. However, one of our key church officers is standing down, having kindly held the post in a caretaker capacity for one year. In the Church-in-Wales Guidelines, which are publically available on their web-site, we are told that we are able to hold an electronic poll on this one unique occasion in the history of the church (as long as, when there is an opportunity to hold a retrospective Annual Vestry meeting/PCC meeting) decisions are then ratified and recorded.
So, here on the Parish of Tycoch website, you will find a copy of the Annual Report/Finance Report, a nomination form for Peoples Warden, and a nomination form for PCC Membership. We are asking in these unprecented times, that you sign, with proposer and seconder signatures and return electronically to the Vicar, or physically deliver said form to The Vicarage please. There will also be a box at the back of All Souls Church for this purpose.
